Petticoat Lane Conker Challenge – Participation Waiver
By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to The Aldgate Business Partnership Limited (T/a Aldgate Connect BID) and “The Challenge” refers to the Petticoat Lane Conker Challenge.
1. The Competition
1.1 All participants must follow the rules of the game and play responsibly. All participants enter into The Challenge at their own personal risk, and The Promoter will not be held liable for any accident or injury that may occur through participation.
1.2 In entering The Challenge, all participants are aware that they will be filmed/photographed, and that this will be used on the Petticoat Lane digital channels.
1.3 All participants will be entered into the Grand Prize competition to win one £100 City Gift Card voucher. One (1) winner will be selected at random by The Promoter. The winner will be announced on Instagram and contacted directly the following day.
1.4 There is a limit to one entry per participant.
1.5 The Promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.
2. The Prizes
2.1 No purchase necessary: winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.
2.2 The Promoter will not be liable for any damaged, lost, delayed, or undelivered prizes. However, The Promoter will do all it can to mitigate such issues or concerns.
2.3 Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, The Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
3. Data Collection
3.1 The name, email address, and if relevant company of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize. No personal information will be shared online by The Promoter. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information on how we handle and store data.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend The Challenge or these Terms and Conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
