We’re excited to see the free Aldgate Egg Hunt back again this year, packed with some egg‑citing new surprises for everyone!
Running from Friday 20th March to Monday 6th April, Aldgate Connect BID’s annual FREE self‑guided egg hunt is returning with 10 hidden clues that will lead you to a tasty sweet treat.
Whether you’re joining in with colleagues, friends, family, or just exploring on your own, this scavenger‑style trail has something for everyone – including new challenges and special Ally the Aldgate Bunny days for all ages and groups.
Start your hunt at Aldgate Tap, then follow the 9 clues displayed in the windows of businesses around Aldgate – a few might even bring you right here to the lane. Crack each clue to reach the final stop and pick up your well‑earned chocolate reward!*
The egg hunt takes around 40–50 minutes, taking you on a short tour around Aldgate – perfect for a lunchtime break, an after‑work wander, or a fun family outing.

This year’s Aldgate Egg Hunt runs from 20th March – 6th April and brings back the self-guided scavenger hunt style trail, visits from Ally the Aldgate Bunny, and introduces the brand‑new ‘Crack the Egg’ Team Challenge. Sign up a team to become Aldgate Egg Champions and win the fantastic prize of a £150 City Gift Card (plus some serious office bragging rights).
