Taste of Egypt

Petticoat Lane Market

  • Monday - Friday: 11am - 3pm

Welcome to Taste of Egypt, a delightful Egyptian street food haven where flavours from the ancient land of the Pharaohs dance on your palate. Enjoy delicious homemade dishes coated with authentic marinades and sauces.

From spiced lamb kofta with homemade salads, to grilled chicken infused with aromatic spices, served on a bed of spicy rice. Make sure to try their crowning glory – Ta-amiya, the Egyptian variation of falafel that keeps locals and workers coming back every week! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, made from freshly ground fava beans, vibrant vegetables, and an abundance of herbs.
