Lates on the Lane

Posted on: 27.10.2025

You may think the fun stops when our traders pack up for the day, but let us tell you – when the market stalls are the gone, the Lane ain’t sleeping. Oh no. We’ve got some of London’s most exciting and eclectic evening activities happening right here.

Looking for a place to unwind? Fancy a decaf coffee cocktail? Curious about the occult? Or just keen to try out new hobbies with likeminded folk? Step into our world of lates on the Lane…

Night Café at Zero to One Café
19 Widegate Street | 18:00-22:00

We’ve got a few historic alleys down our way, but only one with the Zero to One Night Café. Join them for a Thirsty Thursday with all the flavour and no hangover.

Fed up or stressed out? Their exclusive Night Café specials will help you kick back and chill out. We’re partial to a zesty Espresso ‘Pomellow’ (espresso and homemade pomelo cordial? Yes please), but won’t say no to a fragrant Shaken Hibiscus or a caramel latte-inspired Sweetie Arabica either.

And if you coffee connoisseurs can’t get enough of Zero to One’s brewing skills, then keep an eye out for their upcoming cupping events. It’s your chance to taste exclusive crop samples guided by expert baristas AND get a cheeky mystery sample to take home.

“Stay late, sip slow.” If you insist.

All-Night Hangout at London Night Café
56 Middlesex Street | from 18:00

Trying to uncover a “portal into the unexpected”? Dive into founder Eric’s personal pluriverse tucked around this city corner.

Open until 3:00 and later on Fridays, London Night Café will transport you to a fantastical indoor escape, “totally removed from reality,” where every nook and cranny holds some new discovery.

Enjoy an infra-red heater sun at the indoor beach. See if you’ve still got your 90s gaming skills at the hacker desk, or bury your nose on a book on the sprawling sofas. Just be warned: diving into the ball pit with your shoes on is frowned upon.

Esoteric Evenings at Concrete Boutique
11 Leyden Street | from 19:00

Interested in the occult? Head to Concrete Boutique, where founder Kelly Lin (aka, the Shaman) is sharing her goddess energy at regular evening events.

Grab a wand and channel your inner Hermione by learning a few charms in a spell-making workshop. Maybe even summon the gamers ahead of the next Nintendo Switch meetup. Other Wednesday socials involve talisman, calligraphy and leather piercing workshops. It’s a changing monthly line-up so head to their socials to see what’s coming up soon. Entry for all workshops is £20, but if you’ve already spent all your money down the Market, don’t worry. Free movie nights happen regularly. (We’re still recovering from the Twilight marathon).

And don’t forget about the Night Markets. Let Kelly read your tarot cards before you check out the handmade jewellery, antique trinkets, occult art and fashion. Who knew the spiritual realm could be so aesthetic?
