NEW on the Lane

Posted on: 10.07.2026

In recent months we’ve welcomed not one, not two, but THREE amazing new businesses to the Lane: Perky Bean, Leo’s Bun and Hairschi are all masters at their crafts, bringing bundles of fresh energy and new skills our way.

So, if you’re keen to try a new brew, a new flavour or a new trim, you’ll want to keep reading

Perky Bean | Petticoat Lane Food Market

Pep up your day with a visit to Christina and Greg and their Perky Bean coffee cart. The pair started their mobile business with one goal: to give people happiness in a cup.

“I wasn’t super happy where I used to work, but the moment that brightened my day was visiting my favourite coffee shop. I would talk for five minutes with my barista, grab a drink and a dessert, and then go to work. Having that time to reset and treat myself helped me push through the day, and I want to give that same relief to others.”

Perky Bean is a labour of love for the pair, and every detail is considered. Case in point: they built their cart themselves to ensure it was just right.

All their delicious drinks and generous desserts are priced at £2.99 or under (where else will you find a deal that good in Central London, c’mon…), and we recommend giving Christina’s favourite order a go – an oat milk flat white with a slice of karpatka, or their new iced strawberry matcha latte. Try one, and you’ll soon be back for the other.

Pop down and grab a Perky Bean sweet treat at our weekday Market from 8.30am, Tuesday to Thursday, or check out their Instagram to see where their cart’s popping up next.

Leo’s Bun | 41a Commercial Road

Lemony yellow and powder blue, no one can argue that Leo’s Bun’s aesthetic isn’t on point. So, when we say their signature bolo buns are even better than the vibes, you know they’re something special.

The bolo, or pineapple, bun is a sweet milk bread bun topped with a crispy cookie topping from Hong Kong, and Leo’s Bun have them down to a fine art. They keep it simple, with three flavours – matcha, original and chocolate – and three ways to enjoy each. Pair it with a homemade iced tea or Allpress coffee and a seat beside the kiosk for the perfect summery snack.

They’re open daily, 10am to 7pm during the week and 9am to 7pm on weekends. Head to their Instagram to see what specials are on the menu this week.

Hairschi | 48 Goulston Street

Founded by stylist Lucian Grabovinschi, Hairischi is the product of over 15 years’ hairdressing expertise, honed in top salons across the capital. For Lucian, there’s no such thing as a ‘quick trim’, because every second in a salon chair is sculpting your identity – into who you are, or who you want to be.

“My work is guided by one simple principle: I’m not happy unless my client is. Every client is unique, and every look I create reflects their personality and style.”

Lucian is joined by aesthetician, Blenda and professional barber, Amy Lee to offer a range of treatments from their stunning Goulston Street location, where stepping through the doors is like finding yourself in a Mediterranean villa retreat. We have no complaints about that, and nor do the countless 5-star reviews.

Hairschi is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 10pm. Visit their website for the full list of treatments and prices.

There you have it: a hat-trick of fantastic businesses that now call the Lane home. Welcome to the Petticoat Lane family. We know you’ll love it here
